PMC Studio Services
Do you want to play with PMC but don't have the tools you need to get started? Or do you have all the tools and textures you could ever want, but don't have a way to fire your PMC pieces? No need to worry, Artful Beads has the solution for you!! For a small fee, you can come into our studio and use our tools and textures so you can create your own gorgeous fine silver PMC pieces. If you have created your PMC pieces at home but need to have them fired, we also offer firing services!
Studio Time:
If you want to come in and play in our studio, all you need to do is call in advance to reserve your time. The studio is available during regular business hours except when a class is being held. The fee for studio time is $10 per hour; this includes use of all our PMC tools and textures. Firing is not included in this fee.
Firing Services:
We fire the PMC kiln at 11:00am every Friday morning. Most pieces will be ready for pick up by early Friday afternoon.
Firing fees are as follows:
PMC+ and PMC3 without natural gemstone or sterling sliver inclusions: $5 for up to 15 pieces; $2 per piece above 15 pieces. PMC3 with natural gemstone (peridot, garnet, or moonstone only) and/or sterling sliver inclusions: $8 for up to 15 pieces; $2 for each piece above 15 pieces. Because of the slow cooling required for pieces fired with natural gemstone inclusions, these pieces won't be available for pick up until late Friday afternoon. PMC Standard: $8 for up to 15 pieces; $2 for each piece above 15 pieces.
