Classes

Registering for classes: You can register for classes at the store or over the phone. Class fees must be paid in full in order to reserve your seat. Cancellations one (1) week or more prior to a scheduled class will receive a full refund; cancellations less than one week before class will receive store credit. If you are not able to attend a class on its currently scheduled date, ask us about scheduling another session! If there is a technique you would like to learn that is not in our regularly scheduled classes, we can schedule a private class; call or come in for pricing and details! You will receive 10% off any materials purchased the day of the class (excluding PMC, artisan beads, class registration, and gift certificates. Cannot be combined with other offers.). REMINDER: We just want to take a moment to remind everyone that class fees must be paid in full at the time you reserve your spot. This requirement is necessary for us to keep our book keeping in proper order, and to ensure that everyone who wishes to take any given class has the opportunity to do so. Please don't ask for exceptions, as this puts us in a difficult position. In order to make the payment process convenient for you, we gladly accept credit card payments over the phone. Thank you for your understanding in this matter. NOTE: You may have noticed that several of our classes are marked with “Previous bead-weaving experience required.” The skill level for these classes is intermediate or above; in order to cover all the techniques defined in the scope of the class within the specified time-frame, students will need to know certain techniques before taking the class. These “prerequisites” are necessary to make the class experience fun and successful for everyone. We are happy to let you know what skills you need before signing up!

Click image to enlarge	Crystal Bloom Bracelet * New Advanced Class * Choose one: Saturday, October 2^nd, 10:30am-3:30pm; Friday, October 29^th, 10:30am-3:30pm. Calling all advanced beaders!! If you are up for a challenge and want to learn new techniques then this class is for you! This project combines several stitches and patterns together with the elegance of delicate beads and sparkly fancy stones. You can also use the components to put together a necklace or earrings! Cost of the class is $65 plus materials. **Because of the complex nature of the project, we require that you have a strong background in bead weaving.**
Click image to enlarge	Intertwining Roads Bracelet * New Class * Choose one: Thursday, September 16^th, 5:30pm-8:00pm; Tuesday, October 5^th, 10:30am-1:30pm; Thursday, October 21^st, 5:30pm-8:00pm. In this class you will learn to take seed beads and make an interlaced woven bracelet that looks like it took weeks to make! The pattern naturally forms a loop that is perfect for a button closure to complete the look of the handmade bracelet. Cost of the class is $45 plus materials. *Previous bead weaving experience is required.*

Introducing our first mixed media necklace project!! Learn to combine different metals, cords, wire, beads, and lots of other components into one fun and intricate necklace. The mixture of assorted materials gives this project a unique flare that will impress all of your friends! Cost of the class is $45 plus materials.
Click image to enlarge	Freeform Brick Stitch Bracelet Choose one: Thursday, September 9^th, 5:30pm-8:00pm; Saturday, October 23^rd, 1:30pm-4:30pm. In this class you will learn to let go of your inhibitions and create an asymmetrical free form bracelet using Brick Stitch. You will combine seed beads of all different sizes and shapes as well as crystals, fire polished beads and so much more! Our beautiful Inspirational Selections are perfect to use with this project because they provide a color palette and mixture of all different kinds of beads. Cost of the class is $45 plus materials. *Previous bead weaving experience is required.*
Click image to enlarge	Scallop Ruffles Bracelet Choose one: Friday, August 27^th, 10:30am-1:30pm; Thursday, September 23^rd, 5:30pm-8:00pm; Tuesday, October 19^th, 10:30am-1:30pm. In this class you will learn to make beaded components using seed beads and crystals that when attached together become a beautiful ruffled bracelet! You will use several techniques to create these precious components. These components can easily become a pair of earrings for a wonderful set of jewelry. Cost of the class is $45 plus materials. *Previous bead weaving experience is required.*

In this class you will learn to make a domed crystal and glass earring component with a lovely pearl in the center! These earrings will hang off of a brass component of your choice or hang right from the ear wire for smaller drop. You can even link these together for a bracelet or hang one from a chain for a delicate pendant. The possibilities are endless!! Cost of the class is $45 plus materials.

Create the elegance of blossoming flowers in this easy and fast bracelet! You will learn to weave together beads in a creative way that creates floral clusters of crystals in all different colors. You can mix and match different sizes to create a delicate or more chunky appearance. This design would also make a gorgeous choker! Cost of the class is $40 plus materials.
Click image to enlarge	Byzantine Chain Maille Bracelet Choose one: Thursday, September 2^nd, 5:30pm-8:00pm; Tuesday, September 28^th, 10:30am-1:30pm; Thursday, October 28^th, 5:30pm-8:00pm. Back by popular demand this creative bracelet is made with jump rings and two pairs of pliers! You will learn the technique that was used in Medieval Times to make armor for battle. Now the pattern is modified to make delicate and beautiful necklaces, earrings and bracelets. Cost of the class is $45 plus materials.
Click image to enlarge	Diamond Cluster Chain Maille Bracelet Thursday, August 26^th, 5:30pm-8:00pm. In this class you will learn a fun chain maille technique that creates diamond like clusters that can be made in copper, nickel, or sterling silver. You will wire wrap beads in between the clusters to create a truly unique bracelet. This design can easily be made into an anklet for the summer or a matching necklace to the bracelet! Cost of the class is $45 plus materials.
Click image to enlarge	Introduction to Viking Knit Necklace Choose one: Tuesday, August 17^th, 10:30am-1:30pm; Saturday, August 28^th, 1:30pm-4:30pm; Thursday, September 23^rd, 5:30pm-8:00pm; Wednesday, October 6^th, 10:30am-1:30pm; Saturday, October 16^th, 1:30pm-4:30pm. In this class you will learn an ancient technique used by the Vikings. They would use this technique of weaving fine wire together to construct their armor for fighting. Today we use it in jewelry design to create necklaces and bracelets using all different kinds of wire such as brass, copper, silver and gold. This modern version of an old skill looks amazing as a necklace or bracelet with beautiful adornments draping on it! Cost of the class is $45 plus materials.
Click image to enlarge	Mixed Media Bracelet Choose one: Thursday, August 12^th, 5:30pm-8:00pm; Thursday, September 16^th, 5:30pm-8:00pm; Thursday, October 28^th, 5:30pm-8:00pm. Let go of your inhibitions and create jewelry using an assortment of funky materials!! In this class you will learn to make a bracelet using a variety of metals such as brass, silver and gold and combine them with cord using a creative macramé stitch. You will even combine crystals and stones together with the cord to construct a piece of jewelry that is distinctive and unique! Cost of the class is $45 plus materials.
Click image to enlarge	Peacock Feathers Bracelet Wednesday, September 1^st, 10:30am-1:30pm In this class you will learn to make an intricately woven bracelet full of sparkle and elegance. The slight asymmetry of the pattern provides a stylish effect that is pleasing to the eye. Great beginner class!!! You can make this bracelet thin and wear multiple on the wrist or make it wide for a cuff version!! Cost of the class is $45 plus materials.
Click image to enlarge	Bead Embroidery Pendant Thursday, September 30^th, 5:30pm-8:00pm In this class you will learn to transform ultra suede, beads, and filigree components into an unusual and stunning pendant!! You can experiment with many different colors or create a monochromatic color way. There are so many ways you can use the techniques that are taught in bead embroidery that you won’t be able to decide what to do first! Cost of the class is $45 plus materials.

In this class you will use seed beads and Czech glass crystals to create a bracelet that will truly be unique! If you want a floral look to your piece, you can add leaves, tulips, and lucite flowers to create a beautiful bracelet or necklace that only nature could inspire!! The Spiral is so versatile that you can use it with any bead and it will look different every time. This class you don’t want to miss! Class fee is $45 plus materials.

In this class you will learn the peyote stitch and make a beautiful bracelet as your finished product! You can use multiple colors of seed beads, cubed beads, hex seed beads and much more. The cost of this class is $45 plus materials.

Using seed beads, crystals and tropical flower adornments you will create a piece of jewelry perfect for spring and summer! This necklace is perfect for cocktail parties, casual outfits and fun summer dresses! Cost of the class is $45 plus materials.
Click image to enlarge	Beginner Earring Class Choose one: Thursday, August 19^th, 5:30pm-7:30pm; Thursday, September 30^th, 5:30pm-7:30pm; Saturday, October 30^th, 2:30pm-4:30pm. Come in and learn how to wire wrap earrings just like the professionals! Using any beads of your choice, you will learn to create a loop and coil at the top of a headpin and attach it to an earring wire. By the end of the class you will be a pro at wire wrapping loops! Cost of the class is $35 plus materials.

In this class you will create a beaded bracelet with a rainbow of colors that will glitter and shimmer on your wrist. You can make a few of them to wear together for added sparkle, or wear them one at a time. Have one to match every outfit! Cost of the class is $45 plus materials.
Click image to enlarge	Beginner Precious Metal Clay (PMC) Choose one: Saturday, August 14^th, 10:30am-4:30pm; Saturday, October 16^th, 10:30am-4:30pm Come and experience all that PMC has to offer! Precious Metal Clay (PMC) is fine silver powder combined with an organic binder. Once molded and fired, the binder burns away and the result is pure fine silver. This amazing, versatile material can be molded and manipulated to make one of a kind jewelry and components. Cost of class is $85 plus materials.

You will learn all of the skills needed to make necklaces, bracelets, anklets and watches. Once you start, you won't be able to stop! Class fee is $35 plus materials.

A new twist on an old favorite…in this class you will learn to make woven 3-D lentil bead using Czech crystals and seed beads. These cute, delicious lentil beads have a wonderful antique appearance. We have jazzed this bead up with wonderful netting that will combine bicones, fire polish beads, and seed beads to create a new, wonderful lentil! Cost of the class is $45 plus materials.
Click image to enlarge	Crystal Helix Bracelet Choose one: Tuesday, August 24^th, 10:30am-12:30pm; Wednesday, September 15^th, 10:30am-12:30pm Using an assortment of sizes of crystals and seed beads, you will create an elegant ‘chain’ of beads with a helical type spiral running through it. This is a truly unique bracelet that can also be a necklace or anklet! You can change the sizes of the beads to achieve all different looks. Cost of the class is $40 plus materials.

In this class you will learn to layer together different metal components and connect them with a rivet. This is known as a cold connection and you can create pendants, earrings, and so much more with this awesome technique. The ideas will begin to flow and you won’t be able to stop!! Cost of the class is $25 plus materials.

This class focuses on contrast in materials, combining heavy chain combined, thin cords, and glass beads results in a necklace that will bring music to your ears! Cost of the class is $20 plus materials.

You can add gold filled earwires for a pair of earrings that will go with all of your jewelry - both silver and gold! You won’t find a pair of hoops like these in any store! In this class you will learn to create a bracelet using Czech glass drop beads, lentil beads, and seed beads that will take on a life of its own! It will cascade around your wrist like dew drops on a flower. These are quick and easy bracelets you will want to make them for everyone! Cost of the class is $20 plus materials.

In this class you will learn to take heavy sterling and copper wire and turn it into a hammered bangle bracelet with a handmade clasp. You can choose to add a special coil detail for an added effect. You can create multiple bangles and wear them together or just one at a time for a simple look. They are fast and easy to make!! Cost of the class is $20 plus materials.

In this class you will learn to hammer, texture and form your own jump rings and then create your own fine silver dangling drops from the links. The various textures of the metals will dance along your neck with sophistication and will coordinate with all of your other jewelry! Cost of the class is $55 plus materials. Absolutely nothing!!! In this class you will learn to make “S” clasps using silver, brass and copper wire that you will hammer and texture to form unique clasps for necklaces and bracelets. You will also learn to make your own handmade jump rings that are textured and antiqued for a truly unique look! Cost of the class is $50 plus materials. Please note, we will be working with a small propane torch in this class. Long hair (shoulder-length or longer) MUST be tied back, and loose-fitting clothing is not permitted.

You will explore how to make a cold connection, fusing your own fancy headpins and putting together a pair of earrings that will glitter just like the ocean! Cost of the class is $55 plus materials. In this class you will learn to transform ordinary brass and silver wire into a gorgeous cuff bracelet. You will accent the cuff with silver detail and decorative rivets as well as learn to make cold connections to hold the piece together. You won’t believe that you can make this in only a few hours! Cost of the class is $65 plus materials. Please note, we will be working with a small propane torch in this class. You will combine fusing techniques and cold connections to form a bracelet that is as much fun to wear as it is to create! In this class you will learn to make three adorable bangle bracelets that can be worn together or separately to match any outfit! You will use a combination of fine silver, sterling silver and brass wire and learn a cold connection technique that can be expanded to make almost anything! You will texture the metal and add a decorative element of wire to make it truly unique. Cost of the class is $55 plus materials. Using sterling silver, brass and iron these primitive “paddle” type earrings are as easy and fun to make as they are to wear! There are many decorative elements to these earrings that you will learn to make and they can easily become perfect necklace or bracelet components! Cost of the class is $50 plus materials. In this class you will make a cuff bracelet with a clasp that comes together with a fused ring. You will add copper wire wraps for contrasting effect and you can also use multiple texturing hammers for extra dimension. Cost of the class is $55 plus materials. These very lightweight, dangly earrings are as fun to make as they are to wear. You can also mix metals by pairing the silver rings with brass, copper and gold chain!
